Every summer we offer a two-and-a-half-day advanced level program where alumni can meet to go deeper into the principles that form the foundation of the CEO Project. Subject matter is determined based on what we feel is most needed at the time.
The Alumni Intensive is open ONLY to Foundation Program alumni.
The 2008 Alumni Intensive will be held at the Wooded Glen Retreat Center in Henryville, Indiana on June 25-27, overlapping the last day of the annual Foundation Program.
One of Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is to sharpen the axe. Most leaders and managers recognize this as a reminder that we have to pay attention to our own mental well-being if we are to be effective leaders over the long term. That’s why time off and vacations are so valued.
We see the wisdom in this sound advice ... but we take it deeper in the Project to Create the Effortless Organization.
Our focus in the Alumni Intensive is to re-discover that you are not a human being having a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being having a human experience ... and you are the one creating yours! Understanding the difference is the key to greater ease, resilience, and impact in your organization and with your family.
Rather than simply sharpening the old axe, we want to provide the opportunity for you to discover an entirely new way to cut! For some it may look like a new diamond-studded cutting edge. Others may come away with a laser.
In the truest sense, however, this will be a journey into the unknown. We cannot predict what each of you will discover for yourself, but we’ll be surprised if you do not at least come away…
- Rejuvenated
- With a fresh perspective on your business and a more philosophical view of life
- An even more effective listener
- Seeing how to further develop each of your employees
- Having recaptured that wonderful feeling you had at the end of the Foundation Program
